Wen I was in Beijing over the summer, Jlo and I met Matt AKA Mr. Hollywood at the Zoo. We toured the perimeters, visited the Giant Panda among other animals who clearly did not enjoy their stay at Hotel Beijing Zoo.




So turns out Mr. Hollywood is friends with the founders of Kid Dangerous, a "couture t-shirt" label that's very popular among the Hollywood elite.

this shit is a MUST. it keeps makeup on for like 12 hours, plus it makes everything stick/blend better. WHILE making your skin look healthy and all that good stuff.

#2 Loreal True Match Foundation

I really like this foundation. even tho it's cheap as hell from CVS. it really blends well with my skin for some reason. plus i feel like it works in every season, whether i get a little tanner or paler.

#3 Dior Bronze Harmony Blush or NARS Laguna Bronzer

If you know me, then you know how much i LOVE bronzer. I gives me a healthy looking tan and a natural looking glow year round. I just love attacking my face with a brush full of gold, bronze and luminecent particles.

I first heard about her sometime this summer. Dance-pop, electro-pop or both, however you wanna categorize it, it’s exhilarating. Her music totally makes you wanna jump up, dance, get fucked up and party. You know, the kind of partying where you get home at 7am, wake up in the afternoon without your pants on, and have absolutely no recollection of what you did the night before.
Love the music, but it was really her style that fascinated me initially. Apparently, she makes her own clothes or something, so everything is super unique. Basically, you take two parts glam rock David Bowe, one part Donnatella Versace, one part candy kid raver, and a splash of a slutty socialite. Now that, MY FRIENDS, that’s fuckin fierce.

PS. It’s really annoying how Christina Aguilera is totally copping her style, she’s so UNoriginal. But then again, very few people are these days.

I LOVE guns... i dunno why? I just like they way they look and the way they feel. I have some weird fascination with power exuded from the beauty in danger blablabla and all that it represents... ANYWAY I was reading Bazaar the other say and saw this shit: the Chanel Resort 2009 collection featuring the 'Miami Vice' pistol-heeled shoe. which is exactly what it is, a shoe that has a gun for it's heel. wtf right? it's so weird. Edgy it is, but if you ask me, Uncle Karl has lost it.

DunXchange at St. Andrews Hall Detroit - By Vicky Vegas

Last night we went to the DunkXchange at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit. Our Friends Mike and Indra from Motivation had a table set up there. We went with our new Sistine friends Jason and Lei.


Detroit surprisingly is NOT as bad as people think. I mean there were bums everwhere riding around on bikes, asking Lei for ciggies and asking Jason to watch out for their bags full of Miller Lite cans, but cumon, they're harmless.

Mimy and I thought of this event as our first step in networking. We talked to a lot of designers, store owners and photographers. Everyone was very nice and supportive which was awesome. After talking to Mike and Indra, it really pushed us to work harder.

Networking is ALWAYS something I've considered MOST important in many aspects of life. It all began with job hunting, want a job? make sure EVERYONE knows, six degrees of separation man. plus you never know who you'll bump into, learn from, or become friends with. it could seriously be the next person you decide to strike up a conversation with. Maybe it's cz i was in China for 3 months, doing too much networking and acting a lot more friendly than i am normally, but I definitely see the benefits of being social, and being friendly. it brings personal and professional satisfaction for yourself and those around you.
